 Evolution gets a bad rap in school these days.  So far, you have been given a brief definition as to what evolution is and how it impacts what we believe.  It is NOT a religious concept.  It is a scientific process of discovering relationships between organisms.  Religion is a historical concept and evolution is scientific.
